Mohammed Areff, VP, META, Avaya explains that whatever Avaya is doing fits in very well with the theme of GITEX- re-imagining realities. From a business perspective, Avaya is showcasing Artificial Intelligence virtual assistance that can help anybody, where a robot can be a personal butler and help companies complete transaction. Mohammed also feels Middle East has been a leader in adapting and accepting technology as well as implementing innovative methods. “We have the telephony, the contact centre and we even have the networking to be able to support that. If one visits our booth we show them our applications and a lot of supporting Avaya technologies that make the realities real. Other applications and solutions include Happy index, security solutions around artificial intelligence and robotics.” Avaya also revealed its recent partnership at GITEX with Dnata to consolidate all their contact centres across the globe.
Talking about the channel strategy, Mohammed also expressed that Avaya has taken this whole channel roadmap to the next level by assisting the partners when they meet the clients and they lead the implementation, execution and support the technology.
