“The GITEX theme: re-imagining realities fits in very well with what is going on in our organization internally, we are re-imaging our business from being a value-added distributor we are focused on pushing the technologies across for our vendors and engaging in pre-sales, post sales, proof of concepts etc. We are also re-imaging our business by expanding our scope and getting involved much before the whole decision making cycle of end customers and in that regard we have announced a consulting arm called Uniplum, which is going to consult primarily on cloud- cloud transformation, cloud design and cloud delivery and also in areas like big data and IoT. In this sense we are re-imaging our roles for our channel partners whereby we not only become technology associated service providers but also we become their consulting partner and an agent to be relevant in the area of changing consumption which is becoming more on cloud rather on-premises. For 2017 we are primarily looking at upscaling our partners from playing a role of infrastructure service providers to moving into more cloud service providers. Our roadmap is focused on channel enablement, re-engineering the channel go-to market, channel training and also marketing will play a key role in helping the channel becoming relevant in the changing technology landscape.”
