The third edition of the GEC Open, the premium charity golf tournament, hit the Indian soil on Wednesday, 7th December 2016 at the Prestige Golfshire in Bengaluru.
The cool winds of December, the scenic Golfshire and an overwhelming participation of over 80 players added to the fervor of the golfing like never before. The Indian qualifying round was preceded by qualifying rounds in Ghana, Kenya, Turkey, Egypt, Oman, and UAE and will be succeeded by the Bahrain edition before the players fly in for the grand finale to be held in Dubai on the 14th and 15th of December at the Emirates Golf Course and Dubai Creek, two of the golfers paradise in the UAE.
Located at the foot of the Nandi Hills on the edge of Lake Karehalli, Prestige Golfshire uses the very latest in sustainable design techniques to provide one of the finest Golf environments in the Indian subcontinent.
