A highly advanced wireless storage solution for mobile users
Toshiba CANVIO AeroMobile, a Solid State Drive-based storage device that uses wireless connectivity for the fast and convenient transfer of files, creates its own wireless LAN network, allowing users to access their content even without an Internet connection.
The CANVIO AeroMobile is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows and Mac and is already available in the Middle East.
The pocket-size CANVIO AeroMobile has 128GB of SSD storage, boasting the ability to resist shocks and vibrations better than conventional external HDD storage solutions.
Toshiba has created a dedicated “Wireless SSD for Toshiba” app for Android and iOS devices, making browsing, streaming and saving files on mobile devices considerably easier for users. The app comes free with every CANVIO AeroMobile device.
Offering up to eight hours of nonstop use on just a single full charge, the CANVIO AeroMobile has been designed for heavy mobile use. Continuous transfer and sharing of files between mobile devices and the external drive is made possible by this impressive battery life.
The CANVIO AeroMobile features a built-in SD memory card slot for easy photo backup. It comes equipped with the Internet Pass-Thru Mode which allows users to browse the web while simultaneously accessing the storage device. It comes with an AC Adapter so users can recharge it anytime.
According to Santosh Vargehese, General Manager of Digital Products and Services, Toshiba Gulf FZE, “The CANVIO AeroMobile has been especially tailored for mobile users. It empowers them to mitigate the constraints of their mobile device storage, so they can keep taking new photos and videos even when their smartphone’s or tablet’s storage is full.”
