Jumeirah at Etihad Towers has announced the appointment of Savino Leone as the new General Manager of the five-star property, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. Savino, an Italian national, has a wealth of experience spanning from Asia, Europe and Middle East to Africa. Prior to joining Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, Savino has held several senior management positions with the InterContinental Hotels Group, including that of General Manager of the group’s Osaka hotel in Japan; Resident Manager in Doha, Food and Beverage Manager in London and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in Dubai.
Over his years in the hospitality industry, Savino has gained leadership expertise in hotel operations, sales and team development, making him an asset to the Jumeirah Hotels Group.
Savino has a passion for experiencing different cultures which has helped him develop a strong base for understanding local business and cultural practices in all the locations he has lived in. Savino is a supporter of diversity and is well respected for his empowering approach to leading, educating and inspiring his team members. His hands-on style sees him focusing on exceeding guest expectations and instilling a culture of service excellence.
Savino joins from his previous role as General Manager at Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait, and will be bringing his considerable expertise to Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, where he will be responsible for running the hotel’s 382 rooms and suites, Talise Spa, and 12 unique dining destinations.
