To be held on 15th of April, 2014 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Aruba Networks and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise are set to host their first joint event for channel partners on the 15th of April, 2014 at the Courtyard Marriott in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With regional organizations struggling to meet the demands that BYOD and mobility are putting on corporate networks, the two leading technology vendors intend to highlight to the channel community how their collaborative solutions can help deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective networks for the growing mobile workforce.

Osama AlHaj-Eisa, Channel Director, Middle East & Turkey at Aruba Networks said, “By combining our market leading technologies in the field of wireless LAN with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s long standing expertise in enterprise and carrier networks, we are offering our channel partners comprehensive and compelling solutions for the rapidly advancing mobility market.”

“Unified Access, which is the result of the collaborations between the two companies, is the industry’s first converged wired and wireless solution to address networking challenges, management complexity and offer a consistent user experience. It includes BYOD services that enable employees and customers to use corporate or personal, wired or wireless devices on the enterprise network. We believe our channel partners can leverage these technological innovations and present their customers with solutions that deliver a strong value proposition.”

One of the key areas of collaboration between Aruba and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has been in provisioning and management of converged networks. Alcatel-Lucent’s Unified Access offering leverages Aruba’s ClearPass system to validate whether devices connecting to both wired and wireless networks are authorized and then accordingly sets the access profiles. This and other solutions will be highlighted at the event.

The half day event is open to partners of both, Aruba Networks as well as Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.
