Sharp Middle East and Africa is demonstrating its latest line-up of green technologies and products, which includes its business solutions and consumer electronics, at the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2014, which is taking place April 14 – 16, 2014 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The business solutions showcased at the event include Sharp’s award winning range of multi-function printers and display solutions. Its portfolio of multi-function printers deliver the lowest Typical Energy Consumption (TEC) in its class and incorporates a variety of automatic and user-selectable functions to help reduce paper waste, conserve energy and save you money. These include technologies, such as Eco Driver, Eco Scan, Auto Power Shut Off and Eco Recommendation.
In addition, Sharp’s display panels include a Local Dimming Technology, which optimizes the display to deliver remarkable energy efficiency. Sharp’s smaller display monitors (32”) are based on its proprietary technology called IGZO that is known to consume low levels of energy. The company is also demonstrating its eco-friendly consumer products such as televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air purifiers and microwave ovens.
