The Department of Dubai Smart Government (DSG) recently received 27 high ranking government officials and executives from Sudan. The delegation visited DSG’s office to learn more about the department’s e-Transformation campaign and pioneering Smart Government initiatives that were launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The delegation was welcomed by H.E. Ahmad Bin Humaidan, DSG’s Director General; Marwan Bin Haidar, Executive Director – Planning & Development; and other department directors and managers. H.E. The GRP systems are composed of 25 streams that are provided by DSG to cover their operations and management of human resources and assets via 60 integrations with these entities.
The delegation was also introduced to DSG’s experience and role in defining the standards of electronic and smart transformation, while discussing the procedures for assessing the quality of these sites and the e-services offered by government entities to users. The Sudanese officials then watched a presentation by Ahmad Saad, IT Advisor at Abu Dhabi Zakat Fund, about the organization’s experience in using technology to meet customer needs. The presentation focused on some of the key smart services that the Fund offers and the innovative channels provided to deliver its services.
