GEC NEWS WIREThe third edition of the Storage and Surveillance 360 roundtable, organized by Enterprise Channels MEA and powered by Toshiba, held in Muscat, Oman on 22nd October 2018 at the Crowne Plaza touched upon some key aspects of the Sultanate’s storage and surveillance market.
Attended by a right mixture of SIs, VADs, Resellers, and end-users, the roundtable was highly successful in putting forward the regional appetite of Oman’s in embracing innovative storage models.
The roundtable that kicked-off with an insightful presentation by Santosh Varghese, Vice President of Toshiba Gulf FZE delved into the significance of Enterprise HDDs, mission-critical drives and Surveillance storage in an era of data explosion and showcased some of Toshiba’s latest offerings in that domain.
“Storage and surveillance 360 was a good forum to connect with the SI’s, VAR and CIO in Muscat. We received a good feedback on the storage category in Oman. We were very impressed with the adaption of latest IT technology in terms of cloud storage, Disaster recovery, in memory, storage, edge computing, and AL-ML technologies,” said Santosh.
The roadshow shall next take place in Qatar and Kuwait on 19th November and 26th November respectively.
