To Address the Data Demand in UAE at 2014 LTE MENA

Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited, a wireless solutions provider, will highlight the future of LTE and various solutions to address the data demands in high density areas in the United Arab Emirates at this year’s LTE MENA.

“We will be showcasing our latest technologies in addition to presenting our roadmap to support the future of the LTE landscape in the GCC,” said Marie Ma, Director of Product Marketing at Comba. “We live in an era where wireless communication, variety of smart mobile devices, and flourishing mobile applications are reshaping people’s behaviour and living habit, and as a result there is a significant increase in mobile traffic because of the higher data usage. This is a trend that will continue in the UAE and we want to address this at this year’s LTE MENA.”

Ma will present the topic: ‘Deployment options to meet wireless network coverage and capacity demands in high density areas’, and will also be one of the panellists discussing ‘WiFi: friend or foe?’

“With the steady rise of the availability of more affordable smart mobile devices in the UAE, the need for more data capacity is driving operators in the region to speed up the launch of LTE networks, and also explore different options to offload the existing 3G networks. There is no one-fit-all solution, but finding the right approach for different scenarios has become the key to suffice the hunger for a faster mobile network, in the most effective and cost-efficient way,” said Ma.

LTE MENA takes place on May 12th until 13th at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai.
