As a critical step towards further establishing the Global CIO Forum (GCF) to be the single voice for CIOs globally, GEC Media Group brought out the industry-first edition of ‘BOTS— The Book of Titans’, a special yearbook that celebrates the success of the world top 200 CIOs of the digital world and their projects.

The yearbook was unveiled in a gala ceremony amidst the presence of VIPs, dignitaries and some renowned CIOs who successfully made it to the list of 200.

“It is indeed a proud moment for us today as we unveil The BOTS,” said Anushree Dixit, Editor of GEC Media Group. “The yearbook further re-iterates our commitment in driving value and building a knowledge-based community of technology enablers and propellers.”

Tushar Sahoo, Managing Director of GEC Media Group and Founder of the Global CIO Forum said, “This is a very exciting time to be a CIO and I am looking forward to continuing GEC Media’s commitment to establish the Global CIO Forum, as the voice of innovation globally. I am excited to see the innovations our members will continue to drive into the global marketplace to continue to make our community as leader in innovation globally.”

The World CIO 200 were chosen after a deep-dive into the mega projects and accomplishments of the CIOs based on the nominations submitted for the CIO 200 Awards. The Roadshow held between May to November 2018, covering ten countries, honored 1280 CIOs from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt and India. The award categories (Next-Gen, Leaders, Masters and Legends) were set based on the career span of the CIO and celebrated every single project or CIO who brought a difference to the organization— significant or small.
