Maya Zakhour, Channel Director of Fortinet has won the award as the Catalyst 2015 – Channel Sales. In her current role, Maya is responsible for channel organization and oversees the implementing and execution of the channel strategy within Fortinet ME. Along with her team, she is working on expanding and raising Fortinet’s business and presence in the region while driving the company’s go-to-market strategy across all solutions within the Fortinet Product family. Maya believes that the company has some very strong key partners in this market and there is still a big room for channel development and this is where she will invest lots of her effort, experience and talent to make sure Fortinet becomes the number 1 security vendor in the Middle East.
She is an accomplished, result driven sales professional with over 15 years of channel and sales experience focused on technology and IT companies in the region. In the last 12 years of her career, Maya was able to build an expertise in Account Management, Consulting, Channel Management and Marketing with focus in channel management and development of small to medium market sales, as well as building strategies to increase mind share / market share. Her experience brings a proven ability to interface with partners and customers to ensure product solutions meet customer’s requirements and satisfaction. She has had the chance to understand vendors and partners’ environment, challenges, strength and weaknesses and this is what really differentiates her, and helps her understand and set the right plans to overpass all channel challenges and conflicts.
