Rania Al – Khatib, Marketing Manager of Mindware has won the award as the Catalyst 2015 – Innovative Marketing. In her current role, she is responsible for developing and directing various marketing strategies and activities across all regions to promote Mindware’s products and services, which include formulating and implementing marketing plans and budgets along with vendors for their partners, working with advertising and media agencies, monitoring and reporting the success of all marketing campaigns ,analyzing market trends and delivering marketing communication for Mindware. All these come with various challenges which she overcame by being patient and assertive. The pressure to deliver is high and ensuring everyone comes through can be challenging; in such a scenario, Rania has been delivering excellently.
Her consistent efforts have helped to increase Mindware’s visibility in the market alongwith attaining the targets. She has also been a lead player in the rebranding of Mindware , including the launch of Mindware mobile app with a focus on social media. Rania further implemented the loyalty program designed to cater to their channel partners regionally. As a career, what she enjoys most about marketing is the diverse nature of the job. Working with many different vendors & partners facilitates her interaction with a number of different people at all levels. Whatsoever the challenge might be, Rania has the confidence to take it head on; she enjoys her job and loves the unlimited creativity her profile allows. It’s been nearly 10 years since she started her career in the IT industry, the initial part was spent in MDS UAE Holdings and for the past 3 years she has been in Mindware managing the Marketing for the entire product lines under their portfolio.
