InfiNet Wireless recently held its 9th annual international partner conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Bringing together 80 partners from 28 countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE, the two-day conference was designed to give the InfiNet team the opportunity to update attendees on company performance, share its strategic and commercial direction, unveil a range of new wireless solutions planned for 2018 and beyond, highlight several innovative deployments from across the globe and recognize several loyal partners for their key achievements and contributions over the past 12 months.
In his keynote address to all participants, Kamal Mokrani, Global Vice President at InfiNet Wireless said, “We had another strong year of double-digit growth, thanks in large part to the Middle East, which grew by 20% when compared to the previous year. While the Middle East and the CIS countries will continue to be our core markets in the foreseeable future, we are now experiencing growing demands for our solutions from the Latin America and Africa regions, as clearly demonstrated by a whole host of successful InfiNet deployments in these parts of the world. In terms of applications, service providers and WISPs still account for more than 50% of our revenue streams, but we are increasingly seeing strong demand for our solutions in the public safety arena, Oil & Gas and transportation/mobility sectors.”
The conference marked two milestones for the company. The first was the announcement of several brand-new InfiNet product lines, following new investments on extensive in-house R&D initiatives and projects. Expected to be launched in Q2 and Q3 2018, the new portfolio includes solutions in the millimetre-wave frequency bands which will offer significant benefits to InfiNet’s end users, particularly the telcos, WISP and enterprise customers. The second milestone was the launch of the new InfiNet Wireless Academy, an augmented reality educational platform aimed at seamlessly helping InfiNet’s partners and customers with any query they might have related to the company’s various wireless solutions. Users can now easily access interactive training programs, live and recorded webinars, calendars of upcoming events, online courses, to name just a few.
As part of the two-day event, InfiNet also recognized several partners for their loyalty and outstanding contributions to the company’s continued growth. Hussam Technology Company LLC (HTC), a leading ICT solutions company from Oman, took home the most coveted award, winning ‘Best International Partner of the Year.’ “When selecting vendors to work with, we prioritize robustness, reliability and quality of the products coupled with superior technical support and knowledge transfer. InfiNet meets all of these criteria and together, we have completed a number of very successful deployments over the past couple of years with large enterprises particularly in the Oil & Gas and telecom sectors in Oman. Given some of the new solutions that InfiNet plans to rollout later this year, I am extremely excited about the opportunities these will open for us in the region, and I look forward to building on our successes in 2018 and beyond,” commented Firas Al-Abduwani, CEO of Hussam Technology Company.
“This annual conference is not just an ideal platform for us to showcase our new technological developments and share the most recent successes, but also to thank all our partners individually for their loyalty and support over the years,” concluded Dmitry Okorokov, CEO at InfiNet Wireless.
