ESET Gets a New GM for Middle East

As part of its ongoing strategy to overcome market challenges and identify regional growth opportunities, ESET has appointed Dimitris Raekos as its General Manager for the Middle East.

Tasked with accelerating growth by offering more value to its regional channel partners, Raekos will spearhead ESET Middle East’s Sales, Marketing and Service Delivery teams as they work to improve the company’s technical services, develop robust sales and deliver technical channel training.

“Following for a numbers of years of steady year-on-year growth in the Middle East, ESET is consolidating its commitment to the regional by appointing an industry leader who will take us to even greater heights,” said Neo Neophytou, Managing Director, ESET Middle East.

As part of his wide regional remit, Raekos will oversee ESET Middle East operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Yemen, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Libya and Iran.

“As we look to increase market share and drive sales revenue across the region, one of my key objectives is to create compelling new opportunities for resellers and distributors to enhance and redefine ESET’s channel programmes,” Dimitris Raekos,GM Middle East, ESET commented on his appointment.

With over 15 years’ experience in the global IT security sector, Raekos has established strong leadership skills in channel sales and marketing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to taking the helm of ESET’s Middle East operations.
