1. Enterprise backup volumes increase as greater number of devices and data types are incorporated into backup sets. How prepared is the regional organizations for the M2M world?
In the M2M market development that is moving towards an Internet of Things (IoT) future, security will require a holistic approach and must become a core component of an enterprise’s consideration when using M2M to achieve business objectives. 3. 2016 has been the year for the virtual data center. What are the key parameters to be kept in mind while deploying data centric solutions?
The key parameters to keep in mind while deploying data centric solutions are as follows:
- is your data classified? Is it tagged? Is there metadata associated with it that will identify it when it’s crawled by a DLP solution or when somebody else opens up that data?
- How do you need to use your business-critical data (e.g. to process transactions, deliver customer service, perform market and customer analytics, etc.)?
- Where is all of your data being stored and used?
- Do you have clearly defined policies and rules in place to govern the handling, processing and storage of data?
- Do you have a comprehensive knowledge of everyone who has access to your sensitive data?
- is your critical and sensitive data being backed up , how often do you back it up and how quickly can you recover it?
4. How has BaaS adoption and reception been in the region? Tell us about the newly added enhancements to the Acronis Backup Cloud?

With Acronis Software defined storage, a Managed Service Provider can backup his customers’ data to Acronis Cloud, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Amazon S3 storage or to his own Storage array in his datacenter. Acronis Storage defined storage makes it easier on the Service Provider to manage multiple customer levels from SMBs up to mid and enterprise, complying with the service provider’s country rules and regulations once it comes to data sovereignty.
