Will also highlight Peakflow platform for traffic-monitoring and infrastructure security at GITEX

Arbor Networks announced that it will be participating in GITEX Technology Week, taking place from October 20-24 at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC). Aiming to address the rampant threat of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks faced by service providers and enterprise organizations in the Middle East, the vendor will highlight its Peakflow platform which is the industry’s leading network-wide infrastructure security and traffic-monitoring platform delivering unparalleled DDoS protection.

Mahmoud Samy, Area Head, Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan at Arbor Networks said, “We are also seeing tactics such as use of DDoS to mask even more damaging cyber theft, which is why situational awareness and intelligence are now essential requirements for network security.”

At GITEX, Arbor will demonstrate solutions that specifically address the needs of enterprises, service providers, data centers and cloud operators. The company will also highlight its Pravail solutions targeted at enterprise and government networks that require the ability to detect and mitigate internal and external threats in order to better protect the network, the brand and the business.

Commenting on the company’s participation at GITEX, Arbor Networks President Colin Doherty said, “GITEX Technology Week is a great opportunity to showcase our broad portfolio of security solutions to a very large and diverse audience. We provide network operators, whether they are enterprises or large service providers, the ability to see, understand and stop DDoS attacks and advanced threats that constantly target their networks. Given the relevance of these solutions in the region, we expect to see a great deal of interest from both customers and channel organizations.”

Arbor Networks will be featuring its DDoS detection and mitigation solutions in Hall 1, D1-25.
