Taiwan Excellence Brands Exhibit Products at GITEX

Commit to deliver outstanding quality, elegant design and innovation

Executives of some of the world’s leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) firms from Taiwan presented their cutting-edge products and discuss industry trends at the “Taiwan Products Launch Conference” at GITEX 2013. The Conference that took place in Dubai at The Fairmont Hotel was supported by Ministry of Economic Affairs, organized by Bureau of Foreign Trade, and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council. This event was attended by prominent businessmen and technology industry leaders from UAE and Taiwan.

“Taiwan’s technology companies offer innovative and elegantly designed product and solutions which are created with a primary focus to enhance the quality of life for users,” said Hui-Li Chiu, Executive Director of Taiwan External Trade Development Council.

“Each year we bring companies who received the Taiwan Excellence distinction for their outstanding Research & Development, quality, design, and marketing represent Taiwan’s technological innovation and knowhow at GITEX,” Chiu added.

Among this year’s participating companies were :

BXB Electronics – Leading manufacturer and exporter specializing in Public Address & Conference systems
Getac – Leading supplier of rugged computing product lines covering notebook, tablets and handhelds
Micro Star International (MSI) – One of the world’s largest manufacturers of technology products ranging from motherboard, graphics card, notebooks, All-in-One PCs, servers, workstations, industrial PCs, household appliances, car infotainment products, barebones systems, multimedia, and communication devices.
PLANET Technology Corporation – Leading global provider of IP-based networking products and solutions.
POSIFLEX Technology – A world leader in the design and manufacture of Point of Sales (POS) solutions including touch screen terminals and peripherals.
These companies showcased their latest products and innovations and discussed the future trends in the global and regional technology landscape with the industry leaders from across UAE and Taiwan.
