Omnix International announces enhancements of latest software version

Omnix International has announced the Middle East availability of Autodesk’s new AutoCAD 2015 edition, the latest release from one of the world’s leading Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications. Dubbed as the most ambitious redesign of the AutoCAD interface in over a decade, the enhancements included in this latest software release will allow customers to connect workflows across integrated desktop, cloud and mobile solutions. Also as an added first, AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT are now also being made available on a ‘Pay-as-you-Go’ subscription basis.

According to Omnix International senior executives, AutoCAD 2015 offers a more refined interface that allows for a richer user experience. It is also presented in a darker and more modern look that lets colors stand out and reduce user eyestrain. In addition, the New Tab page feature allows users the ability to quickly open new and existing drawings, while ribbon galleries save time and clicks by visually accessing drawing content directly from the ribbon.

“Users of AutoCAD in the Middle East region rely heavily on this design software solution for production and to stay organized. Looking to keep abreast of the latest design technologies, we are pleased to announce the Middle East availability of AutoCAD 2015—which features the most ambitious redesign of the AutoCAD interface in over 10 years,” said Dr. Jayant Deshpande, Director – CAE Division, Omnix International. “With the release of this new edition, design professionals can now design almost any idea imaginable with maximum productivity and connectivity. The AutoCAD platform, particularly in this latest version, continues to provide users with great flexibility–allowing them to use it for everything, which ranges from initial schematic design drawings and consultant collaboration to reviewing DWG files with contractors.”

For the first time, AutoCAD is now available through Desktop Subscription plans that allow pay-as-you go monthly, quarterly and annual purchase options.
