Airbus will be showcasing their latest secure communications solutions at the 22nd edition of Intersec this year in Dubai, taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre between the 19th and 21st of January.

Airbus’s pioneer collaboration tool, Tactilon Agnet, will be in the spotlight during the exhibition. The professional solution, which has both application and platform features, secure and reliable Tetra group communications at the touch of a button, as well as efficient and secure information exchange between Tetra radios and smartphones, is also used for assisting, for instance, police officers or security personnel.

The award-winning Tactilon Dabat, a Tetra radio and smartphone in one, will also be on display at the booth. Dabat Hybrid Roaming, a unique association between Airbus’s Tactilon Dabat hybrid terminal, and Tactilon Agnet, will also be demonstrated for the first time at year’s event. Dabat Hybrid Roaming brings ease and simplicity to daily operations with state-of-the-art seamless switchover technology from TETRA to LTE which ensures high network resilience and secure operations, at all times.

In addition, the company will also be showcasing various projects around the use of Artificial Intelligence for mission-critical application. The latter include facial, license plate, and object recognition, which run on the Tactilon Agnet mission-critical collaborative platform integrated with other systems through APIs such as Artificial Intelligence services.

During the event, Airbus will be present both with their own stand and on Nedaa; the Dubai Government security networks provider’s pavilion at Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, Dubai International Convention Centre.

“Safety and Security is high on the agenda of the UAE Vision 2021, and there is a constant need for safety, security, and mission-critical solutions like the ones presented at this event,” commented Andrew Forbes, Head of Middle East and North Africa region for Secure Land Communications at Airbus. “Intersec demonstrates the latest technologies and solutions dedicated to meeting the demand of Middle East’s market. The UAE security market is flourishing, and plays a crucial role in improving business efficiencies, especially for government and law enforcement agencies. This year Airbus are highlighting solutions and demos that are critical for first responders in emergency situations.”
