The Dubai Electronic Security Centre, DESC, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Thales Group. As part of the agreement, the two parties will collaborate in different strategic initiatives to achieve the city cybersecurity vision. Both parties will work towards achieving the objectives of the cyber smart society and innovation domains within Dubai cybersecurity strategy.
Moreover, the parties will work towards developing the platform to improve the cyber resilience of the city and offering solutions to the government and semi government entities in Dubai. The partnership agreement coincides with the world’s increasing dependence on digital services, as a result of the Covid-19, which continues to highlight the importance of protecting technological infrastructure and cyberspace in order to ensure business continuity.
