New device to provide range of benefits for educators and students

Casio Middle East has launched the innovative LampFree Ultra Short Throw projector – the XJ-UT310WN. It offers a wide range of benefits and flexibility for educators and students across the region.

The new projector offers WXGA resolution and required connectivity plus a suite of application tools. Ideal for classroom use, the projector uses a mirror system which allows up to a 5.11-inch throw distance for a 60-inch image and eliminates background reflections and distractions caused by light from the projector’s lamp shining in the viewer’s eyes. This ultra-short throw range allows for use in space-restricted classroom environments and conference rooms while eliminating the need for a larger room for clearer projection.

“Casio takes great pride in developing ground-breaking technologies and innovative products that lead the way in education technology and our new Ultra Short Throw projector does just that,” said Tsuneo Nagai, Managing Director of Casio Middle East. “It will fundamentally change the status quo in the education space, and deliver the benefits of LampFree projection to schools and educators in the region, while providing enhanced features that will illuminate any classroom.”

The mobile application allows educators to display and annotate presentations from a mobile device, as well as capture and save. In addition, educators can open an Internet browser and display content in real-time. There is also an image capture function using the mobile device’s camera to snap an image and send it to the projector.
