Secure Power division is a major contributor in Schneider Electric’s efforts to leverage digital to make the world more sustainable. The new electric world is heavily dependent on data centres due to the explosion in IoT connected devices and the resulting large amounts of data being generated by business and consumer applications.
Secure Power’s mission continues to be to make data centres as efficient as possible while ensuring always-on availability, without compromising the future of the planet. Key to this is EcoStruxure: IoT-enabled, plug-and-play, open, interoperable architecture, and platform, that includes Connected Products, Edge Control, and Apps, Analytics and Services.
The world has gone remote. Pandemic-driven lockdowns have forced industrial organisations across the globe to quickly adjust to highly unusual working conditions. Some have been more successful at transiting to the new normal than others. Success organisations share something in common – technology. Schneider Electric provides the software, services, digital power, and process physical infrastructure solutions that ease the transition to the world of remotely controlled operations and connected workers.
Schneider Electric has been recognised by Gartner, as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Datacentre Infrastructure Management tools. DCIM software is used to monitor, measure, and manage data centres, covering both IT equipment and supporting infrastructure such as power and cooling systems.
It is intended to help managers achieve maximum energy efficiency and to help prevent equipment problems that lead to downtime. Next-generation phase DCIM solutions take advantage of cloud technology and provide a significant step forward in DCIM capability.

Communication with employees is important on short and long-term goals and career development paths to achieve the desired growth ambitions. Coaching and mentoring, this approach in the past was not as structured as it is today in organisations. This is a clear enabler to ensure a good jump start in the next new role, challenge. Motivation, providing the employee with the right motivation and working conditions is key for career progression.
