EnterpriseDB announced that Hesham El Komy has been appointed to lead its EMEA marketing initiatives as it builds its presence in this burgeoning market. Hesham’s main focus is to develop the new channel programme, which will be introduced worldwide for EnterpriseDB, promoting the company’s world-wide training, orchestrate regional events and introduce joint marketing programs with strategic global OEM partners.

Having been in the technology industry for 14 years, Hesham has held roles at open source leaders such as Red Hat and brings a vast amount of experience in regional marketing, not only for EMEA but also worldwide. During his time at Red Hat, Hesham was responsible for developing the UK & Ireland marketing structure, and the marketing for Turkey, Middle East & Africa. Following this Hesham was stationed in Dubai where he developed and managed the distribution channel.
