Cisco Veteran Appointed MD for GLPI and Middle East

Ziad Salameh to focus on supporting Cisco’s country digitization agenda and help develop agile IT models

Cisco has appointed Ziad Salameh as Managing Director to lead its Gulf (Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain), Levant, Pakistan and Iraq region and Middle East Services.

Ziad is a seasoned Cisco veteran. He joined Cisco as Director of Services Sales Saudi Arabia in 2009 and, since then, has made business transformation and innovation his key priorities. Ziad’s focus will be on driving growth for Cisco as it supports Middle East countries in building a robust national broadband infrastructure.

Mike Weston, Vice President for Cisco in the Middle East commented, “Cisco has a focused agenda to support ME organizations to embrace this change through technology and given his proven credentials in helping to identify opportunities for development and growth, Ziad is rightly placed to lead our next phase of growth in the Gulf, Levant, Pakistan and Iraq.”
