Assigns new management team, takes next step in building its global organization

Wacom’s is all geared up to go global by regrouping its regional bases into global business units WEF April 1. Executive Vice Presidents (EVP) will be assigned to respective business units, replacing the current executive officer system.

Masahiko Yamada, President & CEO of Wacom, said “With its new organization set-up Wacom wants to ensure that the company takes advantage of its expertise and assets to support those people and grow business further into the future.”

Under the new global organization, the following management team will be responsible for managing business activities, replacing the current executive officer system.

Shigeki Komiyama Director, EVP (In charge of BU and Engineering Solution BU)

Wataru Hasegawa Director, EVP (CFO)

Koji Shimoda EVP (In charge of engineering & QA)

Aaron Atkinson EVP (Chief Information & Operation Officer)

Tom Lam EVP (In charge of China operation)

Robert Marlinghaus EVP (In charge of HR)
