Riverbed Technology has promoted Elie Dib to the position of MD for the Middle East and North, Central and West Africa (MENA) region. Elie, who was previously regional head of channels, will now see his role expanded to include management of the sales, technical and channel teams in an effort to increase engagement with existing customers and drive penetration into new verticals and key markets.
As MD for the MENA region, Elie will continue to fine tune Riverbed’s business strategy to effectively grow the company’s customer base in key markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Oman and Egypt. He will foster deeper engagement with the channel as well as Riverbed’s Alliance partners such as EMC and Microsoft with the intention of capitalizing on more joint opportunities.
