The Global CIO Forum proudly announces Youness Zmirli as the Ambassador for Morocco. With over 18 years of extensive experience in technology infrastructure, digitalization, data architecture, ERP, telecommunications, and project management, Youness brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. His journey in the IT sector began in 2006 as an IT project manager at Crédit Immobilier and Hôtelier, where he led digitalization projects to ensure compliance with local regulations. Subsequently, he transitioned to SAGEM security, part of the Safran Group, overseeing the integration of biometric border control systems for various countries and governments. In 2015, Youness became the youngest CIO in Morocco, joining Foundever (formerly Sitel Group) as the CIO Africa, where he played a pivotal role in delivering IT services for multinational companies establishing customer service operations in offshore locations across Africa. Throughout his career, Youness has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. His appointment as Country Ambassador for Morocco underscores the Global CIO Forum’s dedication to fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing in the technology sector. This aligns seamlessly with this year’s theme of “Unleash the Might,” as Youness continues to drive innovation and elevate the IT landscape in Morocco and beyond.
