Survey states 96% enterprises vulnerable to critical cyber attacks

The majority of IT decision makers in the UAE believe that their organizations were victims of cyber attacks in the last 12 months, and almost all of them expect to be targeted again in 2015, according to a recent survey by Bit9+Carbon Black

When asked what aspects of their organizations are the most vulnerable to cyber attacks, the respondents perceive mobile devices (31 per cent) and infrastructure servers (24 per cent) as the most susceptible.

Harry Sverdlove, CTO of Bit9+Carbon Black, said: “The survey clearly demonstrates that most organizations are being targeted, hence the need to consistently enhance and improve their information security. Traditional endpoint security solutions, such as anti-virus, are insufficient against today’s advanced threats and targeted attacks.”
