At the Gartner Security and Risk Management Summit Paladion showcased its next generation security model CyberActive SOC. Paladion explained how organizations in the Middle East, can overcome their limitations by augmenting their SOC with the right set of analytics and automation techniques designed to improve detection, gain better visibility, reduce the time to respond and remediate security incidents – thus move up the maturity curve.

Today, the trend is not to put too many products for defence as you cannot have a 100 percent defence against any threat but to have better detection mechanisms and better response and be more resilient towards attack and we have been improving upon our resilience towards threat.

Paladion had unveiled its new logo a few months back. The logo is symbolic of the various fresh approaches to MSS that Paladion would be bringing to the region. “Paladion wanted to look as a much more focused player in the market with unique offerings as a IP Intellectual Property service provider, be it in any value added component or automated delivery models”, says Firosh Ummer, Managing Director of EMEA at Paladion Networks.

“CyberActive SOC is a service brand and at the core of this service brand there is certain IP that enhances our internal productivity and gives the added value and experience to the customers at an effective price.”

“MSS is one of our strong area and with this we are expanding our market share. Today, the trend is not to put too many products for defence as you cannot have a 100 percent defence against any threat but to have better detection mechanisms and better response and be more resilient towards attack and we have been improving upon our resilience towards threat.”

Popularity of MSS: MSS has been a popular thing for the more developed countries. Here there was a lack in the maturity and acceptance level. That is changing for multiple reasons coz the security competencies are changing and technology alone is not sufficient. For your security it is important to have a specialist provider managing your services.

Paladion’s CyberActive SOC model and explain how Challenges in the financial institutions: financial institutions have an operational need to provide services through theseoperational models so they are more exposed to threat, there is also regulatory threats as they are directly involved with the customers. There are multitude of threats impacting it. We are doing a continuous mode of security and it is more of risk based. If you look at a maturity POV it is more mature than any other sector.

Data security is going to be a key issue as IoT and Big data will generate a huge amount of data.
