Alcatel-Lucent participated in the 2013 Saudi Telecom Company (STC) Communication Technology Exhibition, held for the second year at its headquarters in Riyadh. Held over two days (20 & 21 November 2013), the exhibition was inaugurated by STC Managing Director, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah AL Sugair at the Executive Club in King Abdulaziz Telecom Complex.
Fourteen global companies specialized in the latest telecommunication technologies participated in the event.
Alcatel-Lucent has worked with STC since 2003, creating and supplying the infrastructure to enable STC to build its DSL and broadband wireless solutions for businesses in the Kingdom. This year Alcatel-Lucent participated with demos on customer experience, next generation FTTX and optics 400G as well as small cells and had the opportunity to thoroughly talk on the latest breakthrough in Ultra broadband, fixed access and optics.
