Polycom has announced that its VVX business media phones, including the latest VVX 600, now support Arabic.
The recent unified communication software update 5.0.1 automatically updated all existing Polycom VVX line of business media phones with Arabic language support in addition to various other significant enhancements. The new update also provides users with added support for: Selecting the audio and video mode when retrieving parked calls, A digit map timeout for on-hook and off-hook dialing and BToE (Better Together over Ethernet) auto-pairing.

The next-generation Polycom VVX 600 business media phone delivers the familiar tap-and-swipe usability of smart phones and tablets to the desktop, while offering advanced UC&C features and a new optional video camera that accelerates the speed of business and enables face-to-face collaboration via video conferencing.
With the Polycom VVX 600 solutions, workers have a flexible and intuitive phone that integrates seamlessly with popular UC&C productivity applications and Bluetooth headsets for hands-free privacy. Users can also join video conferences via the optional Polycom VVX Camera, which Polycom also unveiled today for both Polycom VVX 600 and Polycom VVX 500 business media phones.
The Polycom VVX 600 business media phone is available today in select Middle Eastern countries. The Polycom UC Software 5.0.1 is now available for all VVX business media phones.
