At GISEC 2025, Securden Highlights the Urgent Need to Secure Privileged Access—Including AI Agents

Kumaran Balan, Chief Technology Officer, Securden, Inc. and Bala Venkatramani, CEO, Securden, Inc

In a conversation with GEC Media, Bala Venkatramani, CEO of Securden, underscores the growing importance of managing both human and non-human identities in today’s evolving cybersecurity landscape.

What innovations or offerings is Securden highlighting at GISEC?
We’re showcasing our suite of IT security solutions, which primarily focus on privileged access security. These solutions help organizations control and manage access to their infrastructure—whether it’s on-premises, cloud, or hybrid.

We address key questions like:

  • Who gets access?
  • What type of access?
  • For how long?
  • And how is that access monitored?

Our platform ensures that access is secure, controlled, and auditable, which is critical in today’s threat landscape.

It’s the third day of GISEC. How has your experience been so far? Has it met your expectations?
GISEC is one of the flagship cybersecurity events in the region, and this is our fourth consecutive yearexhibiting—starting from 2022.

What makes it truly valuable for us is the opportunity to:

  • Engage directly with our existing customers
  • Connect with new prospects
  • Strengthen our partner ecosystem
  • And gain first-hand insights into customer expectations and evolving needs

It’s been a great platform to showcase our solutions and have meaningful conversations with stakeholders

Do you have any message you’d like to share with the CISO community?

Yes—cybersecurity is no longer optional. As digital infrastructures evolve, so do the threats. CISOs must ensure proactive control over privileged access, as it remains one of the most targeted attack vectors. At SecuD, we’re here to help organizations secure their access layers with robust, scalable, and intelligent solutions.

We are in the midst of the AI wave, using AI for almost everything. Organizations—if not already—will soon find themselves drowning in a pile of AI agents.

In such a scenario, controlling access to these agents becomes critical. Until now, we’ve mostly focused on controlling access for human users—but how do we manage non-human entities?

This is becoming an emerging threat. Privileged access management must now expand to cover not just human identities, but also non-human ones, especially AI agents.

That’s why non-human identity management is now an important area of focus. I encourage the CISO community to start paying close attention to this evolving domain.
