Avaya revealed the latest version of the Avaya IP Office Platform, the unified communications solution for small and midsize businesses. Avaya IP Office release 10 is available as a cloud, hybrid cloud, or premises-based deployment, allowing organizations to deploy new capabilities based on business need, while benefiting from enhancements in security, resiliency and end-user experience.

With Avaya IP Office release 10, channel partners can deliver cloud-hosted unified communications and contact center solutions to customers, while maintaining an on-premises gateway, allowing the customer to take trunk lines from service providers and satisfy regulatory requirements in the Middle East. Among other enhancements, Avaya IP Office release 10 also increases security and resiliency. Now, built-in signaling and media encryption for endpoints and UC clients helps preserve privacy and data integrity — critical in any deployment, but especially in those delivered through pure or hybrid cloud services.

“Mid-market customers here in the region are looking for solutions that enable them to move to the cloud at their own pace and path, while leveraging their existing investments. Avaya IP Office release 10 gives them the best of both worlds: a solution they know they can trust and that allows them to add new capabilities based on business need,” said Khalid Khan, Mid-market Director – Asia, Middle East and Africa, Avaya.
