Provides seamless media streaming, gaming, voice and data services

Buffalo Technology is launching new AirStation WZR-1750DHP router with the latest wireless technologies for Gigabit connectivity. The new router comes with a wealth of features that extend signal coverage, enhance security, and provide unmatched convenience and flexibility.

Jasem Al Roomi, Managing Director of Buffalo Advantec FZCO, Inc., remarked: “Even with numerous devices and multiple users simultaneously connected to the network, the router provides completely seamless media streaming, gaming, voice and data services—any application that requires fast, reliable transfer of massive amounts of data. As a company, we have a commitment to continuously innovate and provide features with our products that fit market demands.”

The new Buffalo AirStation WZR-1750DHP conforms to 802.11ac standards, providing data transfer rates of up to 1300Mbps and beyond. Gigabit Ethernet LAN and Internet connections maximize wireless network speeds, while dual 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band transmissions simultaneously connects more digital home electronics, office systems, security cameras, or other devices without impacting performance. This AirStation also supports Jumbo Frames, increasing the efficiency of transfers over networks.

Additionally, the Priority Control QoS function automatically prioritizes data traffic, ensuring steady delivery of the content and services that are most important to you, without lagging or stalls.

AirStation also supports 802.11n/g/b for continued compatibility and performance with current devices. The new browser-based user interface makes setup and management easy from computers, smartphones, and tablets. The “Guest Port” feature allows visitors to wirelessly access the Internet, but not the resident network, through their own device.

The new device will be available from key retail partners across the region from the end of the November 2013 at a SRP of UAE Dirhams 799.00.
