In an interesting attempt to gauge the readiness of the CISO/CIOs in defending their organizations from the internal and external force of threat, Enterprise Channels MEA in association with Centrify organized a highly customized roundtable that was woven around the concept of ‘Zero Trust Architecture’ and how organizations in the UAE are buckling up to battle cybercrime with the ‘trust none’ strategy.

Building Trust in Zero Trust

Held at The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City on 26th June 2018, the round table witnessed a great number of CIOs/CISOs who were keen to discuss on redefining security. Kamal Heus, Regional Manager – MEA, Centrify welcomed the CIOs and explained how the company is uniquely positioned to address the next-gen access needs of the enterprises with their competitive portfolio in Zero Trust architecture. He explained how customers can simplify their journey towards this culture by adopting their unified platform for zero trust architecture that revolves around Analytics, Applications, Endpoint, Infrastructure and core services.

“Zero Trust is very important in today’s world specially with the modern-day compliance requirement. It helps empowers the CIOs/CISOs to control and manage security in a more better way,” commented Arul Vigin, Senior IT Manager from Dispute Resolution Authority.

Javeria Aijaz, IT Director of Farnek believes that Zero Trust architecture is very critical since every business is technology oriented. Verifying users and devices and then limiting their privilege access to data become critical as data is the key oil for your business.

Safdar Zaman, IT Head – Strategy & Governance, Nakheel said – “For us, the security parameter is from outside as well as inside. It is not about whose, it is about practices, processes, procedures and awareness.”

The roundtable concluded with some splendid discussions and networking.
