Qlik introduces Qlik Sense Enterprise 2.0
Qlik has unveiled its latest Qlik Sense Enterprise 2.0. It is the latest addition to the platform-based approach to business intelligence. Qlik Sense Enterprise spans use cases across the organizations ranging from self-service data visualization, to reporting and dashboards, to guided analytics.
Current visualization tools provide ease of use for the Excel user and brings a completely new perspective to the BI market by giving everyone the ability to answer not just ‘what happened?’, but ‘why?’ and also providing an insight into ‘what is likely to happen’. Built on Associative Data Indexing engine, the second generation off Qlik sense allows people to explore data relationships across many sources that would otherwise be hidden in hierarchical or query based approaches. Qlik Sense 2.0 boasts of some unique modules like intuitive exploration and discovery, smart visualization, user driven creation, collaboration and communication, anytime and anywhere mobility, etc. Smart visualization, which is one of the key aspects of Qlik sense, offers innovative techniques for conveying meaning in data with features advanced summarization of information, intelligent use of color gradients and responsive design that adapts information based on the screen size.

The new functionality also includes improved auto-suggestion and ranking in smart search, enhancements to functionalities in maps, KPI objects and pivot tables.
Qlik Sense Enterprise 2.0 will be available from June 2015 onwards.
