Participating for the third year, Canon is supporting Dubai Autism Centre (DAC)

Canon Middle East is supporting Dubai Autism Centre (DAC) in their campaign to raise public awareness during ‘World Autism Month,’ and promote a clearer understanding about the condition and its impact on families.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the annual autism awareness campaign was launched on the 7th World Autism Awareness Day, under the slogan ‘Be Understanding! This is Autism.’

Participating for the third year, Canon supported the production of charity donation boxes to be delivered throughout April, World Autism Month, as one of the many activities undertaken throughout the year to support DAC’s charitable initiatives.

Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East said, “As part of Canon’s Kyosei philosophy of ‘living and working together’ for the common good we strive to support the community and assist in raising awareness for campaigns initiated by admirable organisations like DAC. ”

This year, the month long campaign will focus on the challenging life of the families of children with autism who have behavior disorders; emphasizing the importance of community’s support and understanding rather than criticizing and judging their behaviors.
