Citrix has entered into a definitive agreement with LogMeIn under which LogMeIn will combine with Citrix’s GoTo family of products. The combined company is expected to have annual revenues in excess of $1 billion with more than two million customers in virtually every country around the globe. The combination brings together proven innovators with a shared belief in simplifying the way people connect to customers, colleagues and the world around them. The combination of the GoTo business and LogMeIn creates the scale, portfolio and resources necessary to serve partners in a more comprehensive way, making it even easier for people and businesses around the world to connect and engage.
Citrix’s second quarter of fiscal year 2016 revenue is $843 million, compared to $797 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2015, representing 6 percent revenue growth. This follows Citrix’s first quarter of fiscal year 2016 earnings (April 2016) where Citrix announced revenue of $826 million, compared to $761 million in the first quarter of fiscal year 2015, representing 9 percent revenue growth.
