What are your business models and how has digitization played a key role in your organization?

“Personalised Care Personally” is the philosophy at PRIME at all levels; we follow a patient centric business model. Technology is an enabler for providing more connected and reliable patient care. We are proud to say that we have a single patient record across our group and this enable our physicians and nurse’s visibility to all previous records of a patient which in turn helps them to provide better and complete service. Digitizing the entire medical record (i.e. eliminating paper file) for all out patients across the group have been a major achievement. More over all other related information including laboratory results and values and radiology images and reports are all digital and accessible to the healthcare providers using a single patient record. All this is available from a single system avoiding the complexity of switching between multiple systems.

What kind of technology trends do you anticipate in 2018 for your organization?

We are working on leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve our processes as well as deliver new services to our patients.

The key themes of May issue are Big Data, Li-Fi and Financial Services. Would you like to share with us your opinion on one if these topics?

With volume of data that is available today; innovation and service improvements should be data driven. This can only be done if an organisation get their Big Data strategy correct.
