‘Fresh: A First Look at New Technology’, ‘Wearables LIVE’ and ‘60 Seconds to Convince’
Retail channel event DISTREE Middle East will showcase the latest and greatest technology products and consumer electronics (CE) devices from around the world in Abu Dhabi this May. DISTREE Middle East 2014 will include three separate product showcase sessions as part of a packed event agenda: ‘Fresh: A First Look at New Technology’, ‘Wearables LIVE’ and ‘60 Seconds to Convince’.
More than 70 retail brands are set to participate at the event, presenting their latest products and holding pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with leading retailers. DISTREE Middle East takes place from May 20th to 22nd in the luxurious surroundings of the Fairmont Abu Dhabi.
DISTREE Events has confirmed that the popular ‘Fresh: A First Look at New Technology’ session will make its Middle East debut at this year’s 10th anniversary event. Farouk Hemraj, CEO at DISTREE Events, said, “The ‘Fresh’ session is a powerful opportunity for innovative vendors to present their products to the Middle East’s most influential channel audience. Produced in conjunction with Sightline Group, ‘Fresh’ is a fast-moving production showcasing new technologies.”
Wearables will also take centre stage at DISTREE Middle East 2014, with the launch of a new dedicated Wearable Tech Zone in the exhibition area, workshop sessions exploring the product category’s retail potential, plus a ‘Wearables LIVE’ demonstration session hosted by Laurent Eymard, Co-Founder and CEO at RED-DOLPHIN – a community platform dedicated to wearable technology.
DISTREE Middle East 2014 will also include the ‘60 Seconds to Convince’ awards programme, giving dozens of exhibiting vendors one minute to deliver an elevator pitch for their latest product offering, with overall winners determined by live electronic voting.
