Fortinet Strengthens its Presence in the Middle East Market

Nader Baghdadi appointed as Enterprise Sales Director for the Gulf Countries and Yann Pradelle, Vice President for Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa, relocated to Dubai

Fortinet has appointed Nader Baghdadi as its Enterprise Sales Director for the Middle East and Yann Pradelle, Vice President for Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa, will relocate to to Dubai to oversee the entire territory.

“I’m relocating to the Middle East to help establish Fortinet as the undisputed champion of the security market. According to IDC, we are already number 2 in the region and are strengthening our local team in order to reach the number 1 position via new senior appointments and an enhanced focus on our strategic markets which are Telco, Enterprise and SMB,” explains Pradelle.

Based out of Dubai, Baghdadi will report to Alain Penel, Fortinet’s Regional Vice President for the Middle East. “My mission is to enhance Fortinet’s brand equity and grow market share across the region, thus helping Fortinet achieve the prime position in the Middle East’s security market,” says Baghdadi. “Many enterprises are remodeling their IT security policy. With Fortinet’s feature rich, end-to-end portfolio, we have the ability to meet end-users’ requirements, and provide the right solution.”
