The speakers
The keynote speakers for the Modernise your SAP systems virtual summit were Sandeep Mahindra, SAP on the Cloud Specialist at Brams; Pandian Athirajan, IBM Cloud Partner EcoSystem – Expert VMware, SAP and Power Cloud at IBM; and Wael Kasrawani, Senior Cloud Solution Architect, IBM Cloud Platform at IBM.
Sandeep Mahindra talked about the practical aspects of migrating any on-premises instance of SAP applications to the IBM Cloud and the intermediate stages of migration and database management.
Pandian Athirajan presented successful global case studies on how global enterprises have benefitted by moving their SAP ERP applications to a cloud platform in both a lift and shift mode and a more holistic approach towards adoption of SAP in the cloud, running on IBM Cloud hosting platform.
Wael Kasrawani presented the various services available on the IBM Cloud platform and how SAP HANA is supported by IBM Cloud.
These presentations were followed by a round of Q&A.
