In its stride to improve data confidentiality and service availability, Gulf Air has implemented Wallix’s privileged user management solution, Wallix AdminBastion.
The solution meets the airline’s need for improved data security including improving its internal IT access arrangements, minimising the risk of data leaks and enabling it to have complete oversight over IT services with no system disturbance.
After implementing a proof of concept, Gulf Air chose Wallix AdminBastion for its ability to provide real-time monitoring capabilities, immediate access to video recordings of these sessions and comprehensive auditing to meet compliance requirements. Thanks to its agentless design, Wallix AdminBastion does not inhibit the performance of overall data centre services, helping Gulf Air to maintain airline operations in excess of 99.9%.
Commenting on the airline’s decision to appoint Wallix, Dr Jassim Haji, director of IT, Gulf Air, said, “Wallix helped in providing real time resource management, reporting and monitoring capabilities for IT administrators, improving the overall efficiency of Gulf Air’s IT function.
