Uses HP HAVEn to help clients solve tough business problems and create new market opportunities

HP announced new cloud-based analytics as a service built on HP’s HAVEn Big Data analytics platform, helping clients solve business problems and create new revenue opportunities. By leveraging HP HAVEn, clients can more effectively analyze and derive value from their information, such as increase sales with targeted client offerings, improve supply chain performance, detect fraud or discover security risks.

HP HAVEn enables organizations to create next-generation applications and solutions that accelerate the monetization of big data. HP HAVEn combines proven technologies, including HP Autonomy IDOL, HP Vertica Analytics Platform, HP ArcSight Security Event Manager and HP ArcSight Logger, as well as key industry initiatives such as Hadoop.

“Harnessing the value of information is a top priority for our clients and a Big Data solution is a significant investment of time and money for any organization, regardless of industry. HP Enterprise Services has leveraged HP HAVEn’s unified approach to Big Data to provide a low-risk, simplified and accelerated entry path to addressing key client business problems,” said Bassem Bouzid, Regional Vice President & General Manager – Enterprise Services, HP Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa (MEMA).

By using the HP HAVEn platform, HP Enterprise Services can help clients solve complex business problems applying a wide range of statistical methods to image, audio, text and machine generated data. These methods have already helped to automate complex image recognition processes, optimize chemical reactions and create sophisticated customer profiles. HP HAVEn, as part of Big Data Discovery Experience, has the potential to enable clients to not only evaluate business problems, but also quickly find solutions and implement them.
