It was evident that the recently concluded IoTx in Dubai was the perfect ramp for Nutanix to walk down with their unique ‘Hyperconverged Infrastructure’ solution. ’ According to Tamer Riyal, Regional Sales Manager- GCC of Nutanix, Hyperconverged infrastructure is the ‘Future’. When IoT, though at its early stage, is gaining incredible momentum, Nutanix is readying updates to its hyperconverged infrastructure platform for running virtual machines that it claims will take away much of the complexity of deploying and operating infrastructure and enable IT departments to focus on delivering applications and services.

With a leading 52% market share in the hyperconverged infrastructure market, Nutanix has demonstrated its ability to radically simplify data storage for all size enterprises. In a nutshell, Nutanix delivers invisible infrastructure for the next generation enterprise computing by natively converging compute, storage and virtualization into a turnkey hyperconverged solution. “We are the market leaders in the Hyperconverged infrastructure. We started in Middle East 2 years back and we have seen that the market is adopting the hyperconverged infrastructure at a very steadfast rate.” Says Tamer Riyal from Nutanix.

He believes that the Internet of Things is a very fresh concept and though Middle East in general would require some time to fully master this platform, Dubai is gaining great momentum and already putting forth great IoT projects and success stories. “Before coming to the exhibition, the customer response was not something that could be calculated in precise, as IoT is a very fresh concept.” Said Tamer. According to Nutanix, the Hyperconverged infrastructure would be a very vital part of the Internet of Things journey. “The hyperconverged infrastructure is the future. Customers are waiting for such solutions. Our customer win includes a good number of SPs, Banks, Enterprise companies , etc… We demonstrate how easy it is to install and deploy the solutions which also have a unique support services. This begets quick and positive decision from the customers as well. The TCO offered by our solutions is also 30% less than the other solutions in the market.” Says Tamer Riyal.

Talking about the key verticals that Nutanix is tapping, Tamer says that, “We are covering the entire ME. We have sales and pre sales for all the regions. We are not focusing on any ‘Key’ sector, rather we are focusing ‘All’ sectors because we can adapt in any environment where virtualized solutions is in demand. We are targeting SMBs , enterprises, SPs and we are proud to have more than 60 customers in ME in one year. They trust our products and they see how our solutions help them to get very high performance products which is easy to install and manage, and most importantly in cutting cost in TCO.”

At the .NEXT User Conference, held on June 9, Nutanix unveiled the first steps toward a datacentre infrastructure that can operate nearly invisibly, freeing companies from the inherent cost and complexity of legacy virtualization stacks, and elevating IT teams so they can focus on driving business results.
