Paul Misener, Amazon Vice President for Global Innovation Policy and Communications in conversation with Arun Shankar, Editor GEC Media Group, mentions that he has been with Amazon.com for 23 years. Amazon has used a number of methods to innovate and would like others to use them as well. With entry into UAE, Amazon is looking to help startups, large enterprises and government to innovate. Misener says the emphasis is on positive customer outcomes and to help them solve a challenge. Amazon is looking to support others in their innovation journey.

From Oct 10 to 14, Dubai World Trade Centre hosted the global tech ecosystem, with over 1,000 thought provoking speakers, 5,000+ companies from 90 countries, across 26 halls and 2 million sq ft of exhibition space. The GITEX 3.0 edition featured seven technology themes: North Star Dubai start-ups, Ai Everything, Future Blockchain Summit in association with VARA, Fintech Surge, Marketing Mania, GLOBAL DevSlam and X-VERSE.
