Microsoft has unveiled a new set of cloud-powered intelligent services in Office apps, designed specifically to reduce time and harvest better results. Researcher and Editor in word, Outlook focused Inbox and Zoom in PowerPoint are the newest additions to Office 365.

Introduction of Researcher in Word takes business efficiency a step further by using Bing Knowledge Graph to pull in the appropriate content from the web and provide structured, safe and credible information. Users would be able to explore material related to their topic with just one click, availing the advantages of properly formatted citation being available to them in lesser time.

Editor makes suggestions to help improve writing techniques. Customers will also be able to employ smarter work ethics with the new Focused Inbox outlook, designed to help them focus on emails that matter most. The @mentions to Outlook on Windows and Mac for Office 365 subscribers will further make it easier to identify emails that need immediate attention. Zoom on PowerPoint is another feature that lets users create interactive and dynamic slides, allowing them to present non-linear presentations with smooth, effortless navigation.

Ihsan Anabtawi, Regional Director for Applications and Services, Microsoft Gulf said, “These additions to Office will help users communicate critical business information through rich documents and presentations, allowing them to prioritize their daily tasks with an enhanced outlook focused inbox. Office 365 suite continues to evolve, delivering the most comprehensive and reliable tools that help maximize business productivity for today’s workforce.
