NETSCOUT will return to Gitex 2021. As well as presenting its Omnis Cybersecurity platform, NETSCOUT will focus on the ways in which the pandemic has changed corporate digital infrastructures, and the new normal means businesses must bring cybersecurity in line with this expanded threat surface.

Omnis Cybersecurity delivers advanced threat detection and response through comprehensive network visibility, highly contextual investigation, and automated mitigation at the network edge. NETSCOUT will provide information at the show as to how this supports the ongoing digital transformation for its customers, helping them to avoid the serious consequences of a future cyberattack.

In September, NETSCOUT released its bi-annual Threat Intelligence Report, which covers the latest trends and activities in the Distributed Denial of Services threat landscape. According to the findings, cybercriminals launched approximately 5.4 Million DDoS attacks in the first half of 2021, an 11% increase from the 1H2020 figures. Additionally, NETSCOUT is forecasting 2021 to be another record-setting year, on track to surpass 11 Million global DDoS attacks in 2020.

“Over the past year and a half, many businesses have seen their online operations significantly expand in a short space of time, and digital infrastructures have changed as a result,” said Gaurav Mohan VP Sales, SAARC and the Middle East at NETSCOUT. “However, as reliance on the cloud increases, as does the associated cyber risk. To meet this changing landscape and avoid a damaging attack, businesses must invest in the right tools to defend the new threat surface, and this must start and end with visibility. We look forward to meeting with our customers, prospects, partners and peers at Gitex to discuss in real-time these important new normal trends.”
