The Smart All-In-One displays are available in 21.5-inch and 23-inch models

MMD announces a brand-new touch-controlled monitor powered by Android for exciting multimedia, gaming and quick Internet access. Available in 21.5-inch and 23-inch models, the Smart All-In-One displays, with their inbuilt computing power, are set to provide ease of use and a seamless display experience into living spaces at home, and public-accessed areas such as web cafés, schools and hotel lobbies.

The Smart All-In-One provides the traditionally excellent Philips display quality. Available in two models, the S221C4AFD with a 21.5-inch display and the S231C4AFD with a 23-inch display, the Smart All-In-One features brilliant 16:9 widescreen viewing with full HD support for immersive entertainment experience. It produces sharp, flicker-free progressive scan pictures with superb brightness and colours, enabling users to stream HD movies in compelling viewing quality, complemented by superb stereo sound.

“There is growing demand for hybrid devices that make the user experience easier,” says Thomas Schade, Vice President EMEA at MMD. “The Smart All-In-One gives users the best of both worlds: easy, integrated access to Android apps, and the brilliant display performance and much larger screen of the 21.5-inch or 23-inch Philips monitor.”

Thanks to touch technology, the Smart All-In-One supports intuitive touch gestures such as pinch, zoom, rotate, swipe and scroll, and large on-screen icons make for better readability – particularly important in public places where viewing might not be optimal. For extra convenience and high ergonomics, the Philips Smart All-In-One can be adjusted to near-horizontal position on the tabletop, or positioned upright for working or viewing at a desk.
Although great as standalone devices, the Smart All-In-One displays are equipped out of the box with excellent connectivity, featuring USB 2.0 ports to hook up just about any device that supports USB – memory stick, camera, printer and of course smartphones. And, to make the Smart All-In-One part of a conventional desktop setup, users can attach a keyboard and mouse.
